KCo. Casita was founded by Brit St. Clair, alongside a legacy of educators and devoted parents, all united by a shared passion for early childhood education. Whether your family joins us every day or just occasionally, our focus remains the same—providing exceptional care and meeting each child where they are. Our thoughtfully designed curriculum encourages growth, sparks curiosity, and supports every stage of development with intention and heart.

Parent + me

(Infant-17 months)

  • Casita’s Infant Parent + Me program supports families through the earliest milestones—from tummy time and first smiles to first steps and early communication. Together, parents and babies grow through guided activities that foster connection, sensory exploration, and social development—turning everyday moments into meaningful learning experiences.

  • In Casita’s Infant Parent + Me program, each baby follows a personalized feeding and sleep rhythm, supported by caregivers and parents together. During awake time, families engage in a blend of child-led and guided activities that encourage sensory exploration, motor development, early communication, and the formation of strong, trusting bonds between parent, child, and community.

  • In our Parent + Me classes, children and caregivers explore guided and open-ended activities together across a range of subjects and experiences. These shared moments spark curiosity and connection, while supporting development in language, cognitive thinking, social-emotional skills, motor coordination, and everyday life skills—all in a nurturing, play-based environment.

Toddler

(Ages 18 months-23 months)

  • Casita’s Parent + Me preschool classes are filled with imaginative play, hands-on discovery, and meaningful social interaction. Together, parents and children explore new ideas, spark curiosity, and share joyful learning moments—nurturing a love for learning during this exciting, inquisitive stage of development.

  • In our Parent + Me classes, the daily flow blends child-led discovery with guided learning experiences that support social-emotional growth, cognitive development, motor skills, and practical life abilities. Caregivers and children follow a gentle, consistent rhythm that includes hands-on activities, shared snacks, and moments for connection, calm, and exploration together.

  • In our Parent + Me classes, children learn through a blend of guided and open-ended activities explored alongside their caregivers. These shared experiences spark curiosity and help build foundational skills in language, cognitive development, social-emotional growth, practical life abilities, and both fine and gross motor coordination—all through playful, hands-on learning.

Preschool

(Ages 24 months- 4 years)

  • Casita’s Pre-K program focuses on strengthening skills across all developmental areas to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond. Through a balance of group collaboration and individual learning, children deepen relationships with peers and teachers while expanding on real-world knowledge. Writing, storytelling, and word play lay the foundation for early reading, ensuring that children leave the program confident, capable, and ready for their next educational chapter—both socially and academically.

  • Our daily rhythm blends child-led exploration with teacher-guided learning experiences that support social-emotional growth, cognitive development, motor skills, and practical life abilities. Children follow a consistent classroom schedule that includes engaging activities, nutritious snacks, lunch, and calming moments for rest and reflection.

  • We teach children through guided and open-ended activities across a variety of subject matters and experiences. These explorations incite curiosity and develop proficiencies in cognitive thinking, language development, social and emotional skills, practical life skills, and fine and gross motor skills.

Brella’s curriculum doesn’t stop at pick-up. Our home curriculum extensions allow families to continue the learning through easy and fun activity ideas.

Few highlights of the day.

Morning

  • Each day at KCo. Casita begins with a predictable and nurturing welcome. Children ease into the morning with free play and engaging learning centers, all connected to our monthly themed curriculum. This comforting routine helps every child feel secure, confident, and ready for the day ahead.

  • Guided Activities intrude new concepts and are designed to be challenges that encourage growth and development. Activities are just beyond what the chid is able to complete individually with ease, at which point the teacher is there to guide , encourage, scaffold and support the exploration of the concept or project.

  • At Casita, our literacy workshop combines storytelling, movement, and play to spark curiosity and introduce early reading and writing skills in a fun, engaging way—nurturing a love for learning at every age.

  • We provide plenty of time for children to move, play games, and enjoy active fun both indoors and outdoors.

Specialists

  • Our dedicated music specialists lead weekly classes that introduce children to core musical concepts like rhythm, beat, and melody. Through playful exploration and exposure to instruments from around the world, children build early music skills and develop a joyful appreciation for sound and expression.

  • At Casita, our STEM specialists introduce children to hands-on exploration using natural materials and age-appropriate scientific concepts. Through playful discovery, children engage with the basics of science, technology, engineering, and the natural world—sparking curiosity and critical thinking from an early age.

  • Children explore art through a mix of independent and collaborative projects, learning basic techniques, color theory, and developing a love for creative expression.

  • In our Spanish Immersion Program, children are gently introduced to the Spanish language through songs, stories, play, and daily routines. Led by fluent educators, each day offers meaningful exposure that builds language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in a fun, nurturing environment.

Meals

  • Children take a mid-morning break between 9–10am to enjoy a healthy snack. We encourage independence during this time, allowing them to nourish themselves with confidence.

  • During the holiday season, children enjoy festive, themed snacks that celebrate the spirit of the season. We also make space for joy-filled moments with birthday party room celebrations or mini class parties—creating special memories with friends, fun treats, and age-appropriate festivities.

  • Mini Sabor Cart, our community partner, will occasionally visit the Casita to offer delightful AM and PM refreshments—adding a fun and flavorful touch to your family's routine!
