Each day at KCo. Casita begins with a predictable and nurturing welcome. Children ease into the morning with free play and engaging learning centers, all connected to our monthly themed curriculum. This comforting routine helps every child feel secure, confident, and ready for the day ahead.

Guided Activities intrude new concepts and are designed to be challenges that encourage growth and development. Activities are just beyond what the chid is able to complete individually with ease, at which point the teacher is there to guide , encourage, scaffold and support the exploration of the concept or project.

At Casita, our literacy workshop combines storytelling, movement, and play to spark curiosity and introduce early reading and writing skills in a fun, engaging way—nurturing a love for learning at every age.

We provide plenty of time for children to move, play games, and enjoy active fun both indoors and outdoors.
Specialists

Our dedicated music specialists lead weekly classes that introduce children to core musical concepts like rhythm, beat, and melody. Through playful exploration and exposure to instruments from around the world, children build early music skills and develop a joyful appreciation for sound and expression.

At Casita, our STEM specialists introduce children to hands-on exploration using natural materials and age-appropriate scientific concepts. In our Spanish Immersion Program, children are gently introduced to the Spanish language through songs, stories, play, and daily routines. Led by fluent educators, each day offers meaningful exposure that builds language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in a fun, nurturing environment.
Meals

Children take a mid-morning break between 9–10am to enjoy a healthy snack. We encourage independence during this time, allowing them to nourish themselves with confidence.

During the holiday season, children enjoy festive, themed snacks that celebrate the spirit of the season. We also make space for joy-filled moments with birthday party room celebrations or mini class parties—creating special memories with friends, fun treats, and age-appropriate festivities.

Mini Sabor Cart, our community partner, will occasionally visit the Casita to offer delightful AM and PM refreshments—adding a fun and flavorful touch to your family's routine!
