Infant Overview (6 weeks – 17 months)
At KCo. Casita, our Infant Program is dedicated to fostering deep connection, compassion, and curiosity between parent and child. We believe that a child’s earliest learning experiences begin through the bonds they form — through gentle care, emotional attunement, and the natural curiosity that inspires exploration.
Our curriculum supports children’s social-emotional and cognitive development, helping them recognize social signals, establish positive relationships, and understand personal space through structured and nurturing activities. We thoughtfully introduce basic sign language to enhance early communication and track daily word counts to support emerging language skills.
Through outdoor play, sensory experiences, and movement exploration, infants strengthen both perceptual and motor skills while discovering the world around them with confidence and joy. Parents are guided to mirror this journey, fostering meaningful interactions that nurture their child’s developing sense of trust and wonder.

Toddler Overview (18 months – 2 years 11 months)
At KCo. Casita, our Toddler Program is designed to nurture connection, compassion, and curiosity as young children begin exploring their growing sense of independence. We believe that strong emotional bonds and compassionate guidance help toddlers feel secure as they develop trust in their environment, their teachers, and themselves.
Students are immersed in a rich learning environment that encourages them to connect with others through shared play, express compassion through empathy and cooperation, and explore the world with curiosity and joy. Teachers model positive relationships and provide gentle structure, allowing children to gain confidence through both free play and guided experiences.

Preschool Overview (3 years – 4 years 11 months)
At KCo. Casita, our Preschool Program is designed to strengthen each child’s sense of connection, compassion, and curiosity—essential building blocks for lifelong learning and emotional intelligence. Teachers focus on the whole child, creating opportunities for growth by understanding each student’s individual needs and encouraging families to extend these same values at home through responsive, heart-centered interactions.

Few highlights of the day.
Morning

Each day at KCo. Casita begins with a predictable and nurturing welcome. Children ease into the morning with free play and engaging learning centers, all connected to our monthly themed curriculum. This comforting routine helps every child feel secure, confident, and ready for the day ahead.

Guided Activities intrude new concepts and are designed to be challenges that encourage growth and development. Activities are just beyond what the chid is able to complete individually with ease, at which point the teacher is there to guide , encourage, scaffold and support the exploration of the concept or project.

At Casita, our literacy workshop combines storytelling, movement, and play to spark curiosity and introduce early reading and writing skills in a fun, engaging way—nurturing a love for learning at every age.

We provide plenty of time for children to move, play games, and enjoy active fun both indoors and outdoors.
Specialists

Our dedicated music specialists lead weekly classes that introduce children to core musical concepts like rhythm, beat, and melody. Through playful exploration and exposure to instruments from around the world, children build early music skills and develop a joyful appreciation for sound and expression.

At Casita, our STEM specialists introduce children to hands-on exploration using natural materials and age-appropriate scientific concepts. Through playful discovery, children engage with the basics of science, technology, engineering, and the natural world—sparking curiosity and critical thinking from an early age.

Children explore art through a mix of independent and collaborative projects, learning basic techniques, color theory, and developing a love for creative expression.
Meals

Children take a mid-morning break between 9–10am to enjoy a healthy snack. We encourage independence during this time, allowing them to nourish themselves with confidence.

During the holiday season, children enjoy festive, themed snacks that celebrate the spirit of the season. We also make space for joy-filled moments with birthday party room celebrations or mini class parties. Creating special memories with friends, fun treats, and age-appropriate festivities.

Our partner, Mini Sabor Cart, will occasionally visit the Casita to offer AM and PM refreshments—bringing a little extra joy and nourishment to help our families thrive!
