Brit St. Clair is the founder of Kidology Co. and the creator behind KidCo. and the Bloo Birdie Method™—a collection of family-centered ideas, learning experiences, and resources built around one belief:
Supporting children also means supporting the people raising them.
Her work brings together a lifetime around early childhood education, years of working directly inside family homes, and the perspective that changed everything—becoming a parent herself.
A Childhood Around Childhood
Brit's connection to early childhood education began long before KidCo.
Growing up around her family's preschool gave her an early look at what happens behind the scenes of a learning environment—the relationships, routines, creativity, responsibility, and community that make a place feel special to a child.
That foundation eventually became a career centered around children and families.
Over the years, Brit's experience has included work within preschool environments, private childcare, nannying, governess work, and supporting families through the many moving pieces of everyday life.
Each experience gave her a different perspective.
Children need great care.
Parents need great support.
Families need both.
Building the Support She Wanted to Find.
That Idea Became KidCo.
KidCo. was designed around the reality that modern families don't all live on the same schedule—and children don't all learn, develop, or connect in exactly the same way.
Instead of asking families to fit into one model, KidCo. creates different ways for families to participate.

From Childcare Professional to Mom
Becoming a mother changed the way Brit looked at the industry she already knew so well. Suddenly, she wasn't only the caregiver. She was the parent making the decisions. She experienced firsthand how quickly family needs change—and how difficult it can be to find support that fits somewhere between traditional full-time childcare and trying to manage everything yourself. Sometimes a family needs consistent care. Sometimes they need two hours. Sometimes a child needs enrichment. Sometimes a parent simply needs a place to sit, work, connect, or have someone else take the lead for a little while. Brit began imagining a different kind of family experience.
The Parent Partnership
Brit believes some of the best outcomes for children happen when the adults surrounding them see themselves as partners.
KidCo. isn't intended to replace the parent.
It's designed to stand beside them.
That means listening.
Communicating.
Understanding a child's individual rhythms.
Celebrating progress.
Working through transitions.
Connecting families with resources.
And recognizing that sometimes supporting a child starts by asking:
“What would make life a little easier for this family?”
This idea of partnership has become one of the foundations of the KidCo. experience.

The opportunity isn't to make learning less important.
