KidCo. Bungalow®
Admission, Cancellation & Refund Agreement
Flexible care. Clear expectations. Support for real family life.
Welcome to Your Village
Welcome to KidCo. Bungalow®—thoughtfully designed childcare, early learning, and family support for modern families.
KidCo. Bungalow® was created around a simple belief: raising children was never meant to be done alone.
We provide families with a trusted village where children can learn, play, build relationships, and grow within a warm, intentionally small environment. Our flexible care model is designed to work around real family life while giving children access to meaningful early education, enrichment experiences, and consistent relationships with caring adults.
Depending on your family's needs, your KidCo. experience may include flexible Bungalow care, recurring care, specialty enrichment, Parent + Me experiences, family programming, and KidCo. Hybrid Care™ combining Bungalow programming with individualized nanny care.
This Admission, Cancellation & Refund Agreement explains the terms that apply to enrollment, childcare reservations, payments, cancellations, credits, refunds, late pickup, and recurring care at KidCo. Bungalow®.
This Agreement works together with the KidCo. Bungalow® Family Handbook, required enrollment and California Community Care Licensing forms, and any individualized Family Care Agreement applicable to your family.
1. Enrollment + Admission
Families complete enrollment in a few simple steps.
Step 1 — Complete Your Family Profile

Developmental needs
Health information

Authorized pickup persons
Family communication preferences
Individual care considerations
Families participating in KidCo. Hybrid Care™ may complete additional information regarding nanny care, home routines, transitions, extended care needs, and family scheduling.

All required enrollment, health, and licensing documentation must be completed and submitted before your child's first day of care.
Required documentation may include:

Authorized Pickup Information
KidCo. Connected™ communication preferences
Additional forms required for your child's individual care needs
KidCo. may request additional documentation when necessary to safely and appropriately support a child's medical, developmental, dietary, behavioral, or individualized care needs.
Step 3 — Health + Immunization Requirements
Families must provide required health and immunization documentation prior to the child's first day of care, subject to exemptions recognized under applicable law.
Families are responsible for promptly informing KidCo. of changes involving:
Allergies
Medications
Medical conditions
Developmental needs
Dietary restrictions
Physician information
Emergency medical instructions
No child may begin care until KidCo. has received the documentation required for that child's enrollment.
2. Payment
A valid payment method must be maintained before paid childcare may be reserved.
KidCo. may accept:
Credit / Debit Card
Eligible credit or debit card transactions may include a 3% processing fee.
ACH / Bank Transfer
Eligible ACH payments may be completed without an additional KidCo. processing fee.
KidCo. may make additional payment options available from time to time.
Reservations requiring advance payment are not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed.
Recurring and Hybrid Care families may participate in automatic billing according to their individual Family Care Agreement.
3. Booking Childcare
Once enrollment is approved, families may begin requesting or reserving available KidCo. Bungalow® care.
Care may be scheduled through:
KidCo.'s approved booking platform
KidCo. Connected™
Direct communication with the Bungalow
A recurring Family Care Plan
All reservations are subject to:
Available capacity
Staffing
Child-to-caregiver ratios
Licensing requirements
Age-group availability
Program schedules
Existing family commitments
A reservation must be made for each individual child attending care.
KidCo. reserves the right to determine the most appropriate age-appropriate care environment based on availability, development, staffing, and applicable licensing requirements.
Whenever possible, returning children will be welcomed by familiar educators and caregivers.
4. Minimum Booking Blocks
KidCo. may require minimum booking periods during particular portions of the day or for particular programs.
For example, a morning learning or enrichment block may require the entire program period to be reserved.
Minimum booking blocks allow KidCo. to maintain consistent staffing, learning experiences, and transitions for participating children.
Available booking periods will be communicated when families schedule care.
5. Childcare Pricing
KidCo. Bungalow® may offer:
Hourly childcare
Care blocks
Member pricing
Guest pricing
Recurring care
Reserved Care
KidCo. Hybrid Care™
Specialty programs
Pricing may vary based on the child's age, membership, program, number of reserved hours, schedule, staffing requirements, or individualized Family Care Plan.
Current standard rates are provided through KidCo.'s current pricing materials.
KidCo. reserves the right to modify childcare pricing.
Whenever reasonably practicable, recurring families will receive at least 30 days' notice before a material pricing change affecting their existing recurring arrangement.
6. Additional + Extended Care
We understand that workdays, appointments, traffic, and family schedules do not always go according to plan.
Families may request additional childcare before their scheduled reservation ends.
Extensions are subject to:
Availability
Staffing
Licensing ratios
Program capacity
Bungalow operating hours
An extension is not confirmed until approved by KidCo.
Extended Care Rates
When KidCo. is able to accommodate additional care, the following hourly rates apply:
Infant Care — $28/hour
Toddler + Preschool Care — $25/hour
Additional care may be billed in one-hour increments.
Approval of an extension on one occasion does not guarantee future extended-care availability.
7. Late Arrival
Families may arrive after their scheduled reservation begins.
However, arriving late:
Does not extend the reservation's scheduled end time
Does not reduce the reservation price
Does not generate account credit for unused time
The family remains responsible for the full booked reservation.
8. Late Pick-Up
Children must be picked up promptly at the end of their scheduled reservation.
If you anticipate being late, please contact KidCo. immediately.
When space and staffing permit, KidCo. may approve an extension at the applicable extended-care rate.
Unapproved Late Pick-Up
If a family is more than 10 minutes late beyond the scheduled reservation end time and has not received approval for an extension:
$40 per child
The late pickup fee may be charged in addition to applicable extended childcare charges.
Repeated Late Pick-Up
If a family is late more than three times within a 30-day period, KidCo. may place the family's account under a Care Plan Review.
KidCo. may:
Require a longer regularly scheduled care window
Modify the family's standard pickup time
Limit certain reservation periods
Require additional reserved hours
Restrict flexible booking privileges
Continued or excessive late pickup may result in suspension or termination of childcare services.
Unable to Reach Parent or Authorized Pickup
If KidCo. has not received communication from the family, our team will attempt to contact:
Parent(s) or guardian(s)
Authorized pickup persons
Emergency contacts
If KidCo. is unable to reach an authorized adult and the child remains in care beyond the applicable permitted period, KidCo. will follow its emergency procedures and applicable California Community Care Licensing requirements.
9. Cancellation Policy
KidCo. intentionally limits enrollment and schedules educators and caregivers based on confirmed family reservations.
When a family reserves childcare, KidCo. commits space and staffing to that child.
For eligible standard childcare reservations:
48+ Hours Before Care
100% KidCo. Account Credit
The eligible dollar value of the canceled reservation will be returned to the family's KidCo. account as credit.
12–48 Hours Before Care
50% KidCo. Account Credit
Fifty percent of the eligible dollar value will be returned as KidCo. account credit.
Less Than 12 Hours Before Care
No Credit
The reservation is charged in full.
No-Shows
Missed reservations without timely cancellation are charged in full and are not eligible for credit.
Recurring Care, Hybrid Care, nanny services, specialty programs, classes, events, or other individually contracted services may have different cancellation terms stated in their applicable agreement.
10. KidCo. Account Credits
Credits issued through KidCo.'s cancellation policy may be applied toward eligible future KidCo. purchases.
Depending on the credit issued, eligible uses may include:
Childcare
Classes
Meals
Specialty programming
Family experiences
Other eligible KidCo. services
Unless otherwise stated, KidCo. credits:
Expire 120 days after issuance
Have no cash value
Are non-refundable
Are non-transferable
May only be used by the family account to which they were issued
KidCo. may consider a request to extend a credit expiration date on a case-by-case basis. Extensions are not guaranteed.
11. Unused Reserved Hours
Unused or expired childcare hours are generally non-refundable.
Reserved or purchased hours may only be used by the registered family and child or children associated with the applicable KidCo. account.
Purchased hours and account credits may not be sold, assigned, or transferred to another family.
12. Refund Policy
KidCo. Bungalow® purchases are generally non-refundable.
Childcare reservations require KidCo. to commit:
Licensed capacity
Educator and caregiver time
Program space
Materials
Operational resources
For this reason, eligible cancellations are generally returned as KidCo. account credits rather than cash refunds.
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
All sales are final.
KidCo. does not ordinarily provide refunds or exchanges for purchased:
Childcare hours
Reserved-care plans
Meals
Classes
Memberships
Family programs
Specialty programs
Events
Other KidCo. services
13. Limited Refund Exceptions
KidCo. may consider a refund, alternative credit, or other accommodation in limited circumstances.
All requests are evaluated individually.
Possible exceptions include:
KidCo. Is Unable to Provide Care
KidCo. determines it cannot provide the booked service or cannot safely or appropriately meet an identified care need.
KidCo. Closure
KidCo. cannot provide the scheduled service because of a facility closure or material interruption in operations.
Booking Error
A family accidentally:
Double-books a reservation
Selects the wrong date
Selects the wrong time
Books care for the incorrect child
KidCo. must be notified promptly and before the reservation is used.
KidCo. System or Billing Error
A documented technical or billing issue attributable to KidCo. causes a reservation to be lost, duplicated, or incorrectly processed.
KidCo. may request supporting documentation.
Approval of one refund or credit exception does not create an obligation to approve similar requests in the future.
14. Illness-Related Cancellations
KidCo. Bungalow® is a well-child environment.
Families should notify KidCo. as soon as possible when a child cannot attend because of illness.
Standard cancellation rules generally apply to illness-related absences unless KidCo. approves an exception.
Reservations canceled within the no-credit period may remain fully charged.
If a child becomes ill during care and must be picked up, the remaining reserved hours for that day are generally considered used and are not eligible for refund or credit.
Recurring and Hybrid Care families should refer to their individual Family Care Agreement for additional illness-related provisions.
15. Failed Payments
Families are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method.
If payment fails, KidCo. may:
Notify the family
Request an alternative payment method
Attempt an approved secondary payment method
Temporarily hold upcoming reservations
Suspend future booking privileges until the account is current
Repeated failed payments may result in a:
$40 failed-payment fee per unsuccessful transaction
KidCo. may suspend or deactivate accounts with repeated unresolved payment failures.
16. Reserved Care + Auto-Enroll
Families needing consistent childcare may qualify for KidCo. Reserved Care.
Reserved Care allows KidCo. to hold recurring childcare capacity specifically for participating families.
Default Weekly Schedule
Each participating child may have an established weekly care schedule.
Monthly Schedule Window
KidCo. may provide a monthly period during which families can review and request modifications to the upcoming schedule.
Eligible changes may include:
Adding hours
Changing days
Adjusting arrival times
Adjusting departure times
Requesting additional care
Changes remain subject to capacity and the requirements of the family's plan.
No Changes?
If the family does not request a modification, the existing recurring schedule may automatically continue into the next booking period.
17. Reserved Care Payment
After the applicable schedule-modification period, the family's approved recurring schedule may automatically be billed to the default payment method.
Families are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method.
If payment fails, KidCo. may temporarily hold the reservation while requesting updated payment information.
Unresolved reservations may be released.
18. Pausing Reserved Care
Eligible Reserved Care families may pause their recurring enrollment for up to:
Two months per calendar year
Advance notice is required.
Pause requests must be received before the applicable booking deadline to affect the upcoming reservation period.
Unused pause periods have no cash value and do not automatically roll over into a future calendar year.
19. Canceling Reserved Care
Families wishing to discontinue Reserved Care must provide notice according to their applicable care agreement.
Notice received before the monthly booking deadline will generally prevent the next recurring booking cycle.
Notice received after the deadline may take effect during the following booking cycle.
20. KidCo. Hybrid Care™
KidCo. Hybrid Care™ combines the social, developmental, and enrichment benefits of the Bungalow with individualized nanny or extended private-care support.
A Hybrid Care day may include:
Bungalow Care
Small-group early learning, socialization, Bloo Birdie Method™ programming, enrichment, meals, outdoor experiences, and rest.
Individualized Nanny Care
Dedicated caregiver support before, after, or alongside the child's Bungalow experience.
Hybrid Care may be particularly helpful for families with:
Long work shifts
Variable schedules
Three- or four-day workweeks
Sibling care needs
Earlier or later care requirements
Individualized afternoon care
Care needs beyond standard Bungalow operating hours
21. Hybrid Care Family Care Agreement
Because Hybrid Care requires KidCo. to reserve both childcare capacity and individual caregiver availability, participating families receive a separate Family Care Agreement.
That agreement may establish:
Guaranteed weekly hours
Minimum weekly commitment
Recurring 10-hour shifts
Three- or four-day schedules
Bungalow care hours
Nanny-care hours
Caregiver assignment
Transition procedures
Additional-hour pricing
Schedule-change deadlines
Cancellation requirements
Family Flex Weeks
Holiday arrangements
Backup-care procedures
Billing schedule
When the signed Hybrid Care Family Care Agreement differs from this general Admission, Cancellation & Refund Agreement, the individualized agreement will govern that family's Hybrid Care arrangement.
22. Changes in Enrollment Information
Families are responsible for keeping KidCo. records current.
Please promptly notify KidCo. of changes involving:
Address
Telephone number
Email
Medical history
Allergies
Medication
Physician
Emergency contacts
Authorized pickup persons
Custody arrangements
Family circumstances affecting care
Certain changes may require updated enrollment or licensing documentation.
23. Dismissal + Account Cancellation
KidCo. reserves the right to suspend or terminate care for reasons including:
Non-payment
Repeated failed payments
Serious or repeated violation of KidCo. policies
Fraudulent or materially inaccurate enrollment information
Unsafe conduct
Abusive or threatening behavior
Persistent late pickup
Failure to provide required enrollment documentation
Repeated violation of health policies
Failure to disclose significant information necessary for safe care
Conduct that materially interferes with the care or safety of children, families, caregivers, or staff
An ongoing inability to safely meet a child's needs within KidCo.'s program and available resources
Whenever reasonably appropriate, KidCo. will attempt to communicate concerns with the family and work toward resolution before terminating care.
Immediate suspension or termination may occur when necessary to protect health, safety, licensing compliance, or other children and staff.
Treatment of unused credits or prepaid care following termination will be determined according to this Agreement, the applicable Family Care Agreement, and applicable law.
24. Changes to This Agreement
KidCo. Bungalow® may periodically update its:
Pricing
Booking procedures
Cancellation policies
Credit policies
Refund policies
Payment procedures
Programs
Operational practices
Families participating in recurring care will receive reasonable notice of material changes affecting their current care arrangement.
The most current version of this Agreement supersedes previous versions.
